Yes! All vegan chocolate bars from Veganz are organic. This means that certain criteria are met for each Choc Bar. This includes, for example, that the sweet snacks must consist of at least 95% organically grown ingredients and that they are GMO-free. The organic quality of our products is constantly and strictly tested.

You may find this surprising: Vegan chocolate bars do not have that many different ingredients than conventional chocolate bars - just that they do not contain animal ingredients such as milk, butter or gelatine. The vegan chocolate that covers our Choc Bars, for example, consists mainly of cocoa butter. Our plant-based protein bars contain a mix of plant-based proteins, such as rice and pea protein. The sweetness for our bars comes from dates or agave syrup, for example, but also from conventional sugar. And last but not least, of course, the respective flavor heroes of the individual varieties are included: coconut flakes, almonds, caramel, strawberries, etc.

Because our planet is very important to us, we take meticulous care to ensure that not only our bars, but all of our products are much more sustainable than comparable products. And we prove this to you with the Eaternity Score - this is an ecological footprint calculated individually for each product, which you can see on the packaging. For example, water consumption or CO2 emissions that arise during the production and transport of a bar are calculated and compared with the values ​​of over 100,000 other products. At the end of the calculation, the result is a star rating per category: 1 star means that the product is worse than average, 2 stars are slightly better than average and 3 stars are much better than average. Our vegan chocolate bars usually receive 3/3 stars in the categories of CO2 emissions, animal welfare and rainforest protection. Only the water consumption is sometimes a little too high because growing cocoa uses a lot of water. On average, Veganz’s vegan chocolate bars are significantly more sustainable than most other chocolate bars!

Protein bars are chocolate bars with a very high protein content - they are perfect as a snack for exercise and help to maintain or build muscle mass. Vegan protein bars do not contain any animal ingredients and are instead full of plant-based protein. Veganz's Protein Choc Bars have a high protein content of over 20% and contain a mixture of soy, rice, pea and pumpkin seed protein. And to make the whole thing taste super delicious, they are covered in the finest vegan chocolate and taste like almonds, cookie dough or brownies. Mmmm!

No, we make all of our chocolate bars without palm oil. Palm oil is criticized because rainforests are often destroyed to grow it, which threatens the habitat of many animal species and accelerates climate change. When huge areas are cleared for palm oil plantations, not only animals suffer, but also biodiversity and our climate - which is why we at Veganz are very careful not to use palm oil at all if possible (as we managed to do with our vegan chocolate bars!). And if we do have to use it, then only from certified sources.
